HOW IT WORKS
our process
01
Initial consult
After photographing weddings all over the country and in many different settings over the past few years, we’ve found that we’re not the perfect fit for every couple. That’s why this process begins with a conversation. We want to hear everything—how you met, funny first date stories, and how y’all got engaged.
We’ll get to know one another, talk about the details of your day, answer any questions you might have about working with us and figure out if we’re the best fit for each other.

wedding advice
We're here as a resource beyond photography—whether you're looking for engagement session outfit recommendations, timeline advice, or vendor referrals. We are here for you to help you savor each moment of your day as well as guiding you throughout the day!
Even if you're working with a wedding planner or you're planning a simple wedding, there are likely still a lot of moving pieces left leading up to your big day. We're happy to share everything we've learned along the way

engagement session
We’re big fans of engagement sessions for a few reasons. Not only do they allow you to get comfortable in front of the camera, they also give you the opportunity to showcase your personalities in a more casual setting that is significant to the two of you. It also allows us to get to know each other and to get a feel for what it's like shooting with us! Having someone by your side guiding you, who you trust can capture you at your best does amazing for Wedding Day jitters.
Engagement sessions can take place anywhere from immediately following a proposal to just a few days before the wedding. We’ve found that there isn’t a “good” or “bad” time to take your photos. We normally plan sessions based on a particular “look” a couple has in mind, spring flowers for example, or based on schedules.

wedding day prep
We check-in about two months before the wedding to start chatting about timeline specifics, special details, family formal shot lists, special traditions and anything else we should know about your big day.
While we normally don't send this questionnaire until closer to the wedding, we love to be on texting basis with our couples so we are all on the same page every step of the way and only a text away.

the big day
It's finally here! The day the two of you say "I Do" and dance the night away surrounded by your family and friends.
Just know we're excited to celebrate and capture your wedding day too! By now we've gotten to know each other and we are invested in your day! Just don't judge Tiffany if you find her crying along at the speeches or mother son dance or Jonathan if you spot him dancing his way across the dance floor! After all that's why we are in this business!

photo delivery
You can expect your photos to be delivered via an online gallery within about three weeks of your wedding. At that time, we'll also send over details about preserving your images through prints and albums.
We hope the relationship doesn't end after we deliver your photographs. We want to hear about the adventures of your lives together. And if you decide to have kids, we'd love to document your growing family.
